Project 3: Concepts of Enclosure

Similar to assignment 1, assignment 2 shows the 3 spatial relationships, space within a space, space overlapping space, and space abutting space, in addition to new concepts. However, instead of using dowels, here we used planes to define our spaces. The new concepts included "L" shaped planes, parallel planes, "U" shaped planes and 4 sided planes which required vertical planes and horizontal planes that have been followed by a rule/pattern. Here my pattern was using the black side of the board as my vertical planes and my white side as my horizontal. Using a black and white board that were cut out into 36 pieces of 2"x2",2"x4", and 2"x6", these structures were then placed using hot glue.
